Dear Charlene,

thank you very much for your comment and for reading and listening! However, I need to clear this up because there's a misunderstanding.

This soundtrack and lyrics do not express my personal views or my faith. I am a practicing Christian, and God comes first for me. The song and story are fiction and reflect the inner worldview, pain, and perspective of a specific character in my world, not my own beliefs.

It is the exact same as when a character in a story commits a murder or a bad deed – that doesn't mean I personally agree with it or endorse it either. As an author, I'm just giving space to different characters and their dark arcs to make the story believable and deep. Thank you for understanding! 🙏🤍

Maxim, Mizieya — the strongest thing in this whole piece is the quietest.

*"Forgive me. Not for walking away. But for staying this long."*

Everything above it is thunder, and then six words and it turns inward, and it stops being an accusation against anyone else. That's the line that makes the character a person instead of a position.

And Maxim, your reply below deserves saying out loud: writing a voice that isn't your own is the whole job. My novels are full of men whose views I don't hold, whose choices I wouldn't make, whose despair isn't mine. If a writer only ever gave the page to people who agreed with him, nothing on it would be worth reading. Giving a character his own worldview — especially a dark one — is craft, not confession.

Mizieya, the vocal carries it. That's a lot of rage to sustain for seven minutes without it going flat.
